The Hotel Christiania understands that skiing is quite possibly the best most together family holiday of them all but we also understand that it would be nice to drop the kids off at ski school in the morning and not be worried about how far you can ski before you have to turn back to pick them up again!
That's why we have ideas and programmes to suit the needs of families in the Alps.
Hotel Christiania Crèche
The Hotel Christiania will again be offering a nanny service for ski season 2012/2013 for children aged between 4 months and 2 years.
The nanny service will again operate on a strict ratio of 1 nanny per 2 infants aged 4 months to 12 month or one nanny per 3 infants aged 13 months to 2 years and the hotel's fully qualified nanny will look after the children from 9am through to 5pm when the adults return from skiing in the afternoon.
During the day they have creative play with toys, building blocks as well as the nanny reading books and singing songs to your child. They will also be taken out in their buggies through the village for fresh air and play in the snow when the weather is good.
On your arrival at the Christiania she will spend time with parents and guardians to go over dietary requirements and routines to ensure that the children will be well looked after when the adults are skiing.
Full days are from 9am to 5pm and include lunch with half days being either 9am to 12.30 or 13.30 to 17.00.
Prices
- Private Nanny - 6 Full Days - €600 per infant
- Shared Nanny - 6 Full days as per the ratios above - €432 per infant
- Six half days including lunch - €240 per infant
- Six half days excluding lunch - €192 per infant
Afternoon Club - 7 to 17 years
The Hotel also has an Afternoon Club for peak dates for children aged 7 to 18 years and it is ideal for children who are booked into the ski school in the morning and then have lunch with the school or their parents.
The hotel then offers a ski club for the afternoons, where one of the team will take children who are of ESF 3 star standard or higher away for an afternoon of fun and adventure on their skis!
