SKI LESSONS WITH ESF
Whether you are a beginner taking your first runs or someone who is just looking to brush up on your technique ESF (Ecole Ski Francais) in Les Gets are a good choice.
The ESF ski school has provided lessons for Hotel Christiania guests – young and old for many years. Pre-booking is advised especially in high-season to avoid disappointment. Lessons for all categories and age groups take place at the same times although they vary during the French Holiday period. Lessons are available all day and the normal lesson times are from 9am - 11am, 11.15am - 1.15pm and 2.30pm - 4.30pm Children Under 5 years old Lessons from Sunday to Friday for child beginners from 3 to 5 years old. “PIOU PIOU” : From the age of 3 years. Skiing Discovery. Program: 50 % of the time is devoted to learning to ski and 50 % to indoor or outdoor games in a protected area. “OURSON” : From the age of 4 years. Introduction to skiing in a special area with qualified patient staff and instructors in the best fun atmosphere for their first experiences of skiing. Your child will find the best fun atmosphere for its experiences of skiing and special structures to encourage learning in a reserved ski area. Ski Pass
With access to twelve resorts in France and Switzerland the Portes du Soleil ski pass increases your skiing options to 650km of pistes. It’s obviously more expensive than the Les Gets/Morzine area and for six days in season 2023/24 will cost 342€ for adults, 257€ for children 5 - 15 years and 308€ for 16 - 25 year olds.
The lift pass company has given the hotel a terminal that can issue passes from reception at the hotel. These are priced exactly the same as an online purchase or purchase from the lift pass office but you have the advantage of not having to queue. We can also top up passes from past seasons.

- We work with Delavay sports in the village, just a few minutes walk from the hotel and there is no need to pre book. All Christiania guests get a discount of 30%
