Ski Les Gets and Morzine

When setting off from the Hotel Christiania in the morning you have a choice of skiing on the “Les Chavannes” slopes by the side of the hotel or going across the village to the slopes on Mont Chery, which tend to be quieter. On the Chavannes side of the village experts and intermediates will enjoy the runs down from Pointe de Nyon and Chamossiere and those looking for shorter runs will enjoy the “Ranfolly bowl” and “Le Planey”. Beginners will be able to use the nursery slopes at the hotel and by the end of the week should be able to cruise from “Le Ranfolly” to “Le Pleney” making their way over to Morzine. The Front slope of Mont Chery with the “Freestyle district” maybe South-East facing but the other flanks face North and West and offer excellent long red and black runs. For those looking for cross country skiing Les Gets has 46km of varied loops on Mont Chery and Les Chavannes.
